elder, Ernie Raymont grew up in the rainforests of Tropical North Queensland.

He will share with you from his storehouse of local knowledge how the forests
provided for food, shelter, weapons and homewares.

this fascinating walk you will discover Brush Turkey nests, turtles, and many
bird species.

could even spy on rainforest kangaroos, platypus, rare tree climbing kangaroos,
pythons, water goannas and forest 'dragons'.

Learn how to spot stinging trees
and their antidote.

Aborigines nomadic lifestyle was in
harmony with the
trees fruiting seasons.

You will discover what can be eaten and when, where to search for tasty
